Junior team (1st~4th)

Mission / Goal:

1st~4th grade level is all about learning what lacrosse is and having some fun! The focus is learing how to pass / catch, what the rules are, and just keeping the kids engages while teaching the sport.

We are part of the Central Ohio youth lacrosse league, whos focus at this level is teaching, and allowing the kids to enjoy the sport!

  • Cost: (incldues shirts and shorts)

    • 2nd ~ 4th Grade: $150

    • 1st Grade: $50 (typically doesn’t play games)

  • Grades: 1st through 4th grade boys & girls

  • practice: 2 x week (typically tuesday & Thursday) for 1.5 hours

  • Games: this level is part of the COYLL (central ohio youth lacrosse league)

    • 12 game regular season over 6 weekends (2 games each sunday)

    • 2 weekends will be home games, 4 weekends will be away (hilliard, delaware, other)

  • Season details:

    • Start date: practice will start the week after daylight savings begins (march 8th)

    • End date: last weekend of games is typically the 2nd week of may

    • location: All practices & Home games will be infront of the junior high

  • equipment: helmet, gloves, elbow pads, chest pad

  • experience: None needed….give it a try!
